Where it started
A tired, failing retaining wall on a steep block, slipping and pulling apart. First move: machine in, old structure out, and the ground cut back to a clean, stable base.

Building the structure
A new engineered block retaining wall goes in, laid course by course on a proper footing, so the slope is held for the long haul.

Drainage and finish
Backfilled with drainage gravel so water moves the right way behind the wall, then the beds are set out and the first plants go in.

The result
A level, usable yard with a clean new fence line, established planting and turf. The kind of structure you never have to think about again.
